My New Workout

I've been doing some killer training. I love it! I also hate it. It is so hard I feel sick most of the time, but I think I'm starting to adapt. My muscles are sore every time I leave, this is good pain. My trainer, Glen, has a warehouse filled with all sorts of fun stuff.....Tractor tires, semi truck tires, well every kind of big tire. Concrete blocks, parts of I beams, manhole covers, logs, lots of different muscles used with nontraditional training. Lots of calisthenic, circuit training, including strength, tons of core. I can feel improvement after 3 weeks and I am so glad I have a time set up before I leave so I never miss exercise. I'm going 3 times a week and on off days doing something extra, disc golf, treadmill, whatever.

Some of the things I've done here are...jumping rope, burp ups, running sprints, jumping up onto tires, pulling tires with rope, boxing (hitting weight), push ups, sit ups and so much more. I feel it every time.

My New Workout

I just started to go to a new gym, it's intense! I LOVE IT! It isn't like your traditional gym, no treadmills, no weight machines. Just some weights, concrete blocks, tractor tires, sledge hammers, punching bags, and other creative stuff. We go an hour of circut training and it kicks my butt. I am sore for days and I feel it in muscles I never felt before. Being sore after a workout is a good thing I love it (as long as I can move a bit, lol).
I think this is my year :) I'm going to be the best I can be. My life has been very stressful and crazy the last few years and now I'm taking control. Doing things for myself is helping me and those around me. I'm more than half way to my goal, 27 more pounds! If I work real hard I think I can get there by April, and by my Birthday in May I'll be real healthy. I just need to stay consistent, that is my biggest fault. I keep going so hard and then I don't find time to workout and soon after my eating habits crumble a bit. The only thing that has been good is that every time I "fall off the healthy wagon" I don't go super crazy and eat garbage all of the time. I just don't follow things as I would like to, eating out more and what not. With that said when I do fall off I don't gain weight I maintain, and I still eat better than I use to eat. so overall I see improvement in my lifestyle and this makes me feel good. :)
